Care for handmade items

Cold painting – what does it mean for your interior?

Many of you ask how to care for pastel handicrafts painted with acrylic paints. Since I use the cold painting technique, your decoration retains a unique texture and saturated colors that you won't find in mass production.

However, for this artistic effect to last forever, we must care for it differently than an ordinary plate from a chain store:

🚫

Forget the tap and dishwasher! Washing under running water is the shortest way to destroy the paint.

☁️

Lightness of touch. To remove dust, use a soft microfiber cloth or a brush.

💧

Moisture? Only as a last resort. If you have to wipe something, the cloth should be almost dry.

🧴

Chemicals are the enemy. The alcohol in cleaning products can "dissolve" intricately painted patterns.

Remember, this is not a utilitarian object; it's art in your home. Treat it with love! ❤️
